WHEN THERE ARE NO WORDS ...

The death of a person and the time of farewell are an extraordinary, extreme time for all involved. Full of challenges, emotions, decisions and thoughts.

In this situation, I offer you the opportunity to pause and create a very individual farewell celebration - as unique as the person in question.

Together we review the life of the deceased, tell stories, remember. We include family and friends, find the perfect music to accompany the ceremony.

Such a free farewell ceremony is not only an emotional retrospective. It helps to turn a difficult day into a bright spot and a beautiful memory.

THE PROCEDURE

1. PREPARATIONS

First we sit down together and talk calmly about the life of the deceased and the possible course of the ceremony.

You then don't have to worry about the rest. I consult with other relatives or friends, coordinate with the musicians and, of course, with the funeral director.

2. THE FUNERAL SERVICE

As a celebration and appreciation of life, the individual farewell speech is the emotional centre of the funeral service.

The escort to and the farewell at the grave are another part of my task.

Words rule my life - as a speaker - be it at weddings, baptisms or funerals: 'wort-getreu' (true to the word)

Whether it's a free wedding ceremony, a "welcome party" - i.e. a free baptism - or a funeral speech: words can turn any of these heartfelt moments into something extraordinary.

In 2018, I took the plunge to shift my "head-driven, industry-influenced writing" - with more than 30 years of experience in Marketing and PR - to the heartland.

In the meantime, I have accompanied many couples around the most beautiful day of their lives, created and implemented wonderful ideas with best men, siblings, parents and friends – much more than being just a wedding speaker. I have provided special moments as a speaker not only in the area around my adopted home town of Iserlohn, but also in the South of Germany and even in Florida.

When, for Corona's sake, the jobs for wedding speakers virtually vanished, I expanded to include funeral speeches. What a benefit! Accompanying people in such difficult, highly emotional phases of life has been (and still is) a matter of heart for me.
